Are you a good candidate for “Handle with Care” training?

(Maybe he behaves at home, but what happens when you take him to the park?)
 

When I tell my dog to sit…

1. he sits after I say “sit” “sit!” “sit!” “sit!”
2. he jumps up on me
3. he barks at me
4. he sits right away

When I ask my dog to lie down…

1. he lies down and pops right up again
2. he gives me his paw
3. he rolls over
4. he lies down and settles

When I ask my dog to come to me…

1. he would rather not…so he doesn’t
2. he comes, and then runs past me before I can catch him
3. he runs even farther away hoping I will chase him…and I do!
4. he comes running to me and sits at my feet

When I tell my dog to stay…

1. he doesn’t want to so he leaves
2. he doesn’t seem to understand the command, so he leaves
3. he stays for a moment but then gets distracted and leaves
4. he will stay until I tell him to leave

When company comes into my home, my dog..

1. is so happy to see them he jumps all over them
2. is put in the back yard to keep him out of trouble
3. won’t let them into the house because he is protecting me
4. politely sits to greet them and then goes off to lie down

When I take my dog for a walk…

1. he ends up taking me for a walk
2. he lunges and barks at other dogs
3. he nearly drags me up a tree to chase a squirrel
4. he walks nicely by my side on the leash
