"My dog Megan is a Corgi mix from the pound and she’s over ten years old. Overall, she has been a well behaved dog but I have had some behavioral issues with her over the years that I never really thought could be modified. Having gotten her from the pound and being that she is a bit older, I just felt that training wouldn’t produce results enough to make a difference. Was I in for a surprise! I took Megan to Michelle Rizzi’s dog training classes and the difference was immediate. The biggest lesson I learned was that I had to be trained before I could modify my dog’s behavior. Too many people believe in force and negative punishment instead of positive reinforcement.
