Puppy Class –
Social Development and intro to Obedience
For healthy puppies under five months of age with two sets of vaccinations.
Everybody loves cute puppies! But when they get to be big dogs and they are still jumping on us, and bullying us to play, nipping our hands, counter surfing or peeing on the carpet, we’re at our wit’s end. Teach your pup how to behave among humans in a very gentle and loving way. It’s important to train puppies while they are still young and at the “imprinting” age. They should be exposed to everything in life, in a very positive way. Puppy class is a step in the right direction for you and your puppy!
We begin each class with puppy off leash playtime. It’s important for your new pup to learn proper socialization skills with other dogs as well as with humans. We cover proper handling and how to use “time outs.” We will teach a few basic obedience commands – sit, down, come, etc. and work on unwanted behaviors such as jumping up and pulling on the leash. We'll also show you how to deal with improper chewing, house soiling and other behavioral issues. This is a four week course for $80

Basic Manners – Intro to Obedience for Adopted Shelter Dogs
- For non-aggressive dogs 6 months or older
Our goal is to change any bad habits and redirect dogs to learn good manners.
A.K.A. “C.H.A.R.M. School” (Changing Habits And Reinforcing Manners!)
This class is designed especially for dogs adopted from shelters. While we do teach some basic commands: sit / down / come / stay / leave it, etc. our main focus will be working through the issues of every dog in class. Whether it’s jumping up on people, counter surfing, pulling on the leash, mouthing, barking, etc. we will work with you to eliminate these behaviors. This is a four week course for $80.
